The Department of computer science came to life in the academic year2001-2002 in self financing mode. The present strength of the department is 32.The department has a separate building with well furnished classrooms and 32 seated computer laboratory. The department has a reputation of producing university rank holders every year.
VISION
To prepare the students to work with range of technologies to build software and application that helps to solve modern days problems.
To aware local tribal people with computer knowledge and related skills.
MISSION
To design, develop, document mini software/programme and test them using current software.
To understand the depth of knowledge in computer science and exampled in the area of system, theory and software development etc.
To understand the social and ethical hacking related to profession.
COURSES OFFERED
The department presently offers 3year graduate programme in computer science with Hons only in self financing mode.
ADMISSION
For admission into BSc computer science Hons. the applicant must have passed +2 examination and must apply in a common application form through SAMS.
